Open call for “Watch Out” Film Festival

Dear movie fans, Center for Balkan Cooperation LOJA- Tetovo announces the second edition of “Watch Out” Film festival that will take place from 19^th till 22^nd June 2013.

“Watch out” is composed from two major programs; curated program that will be shown on first two days of the festival and competition program that will take place on last two nights.  Best films that will be part of the competition will be awarded and the authors will be invited to take part in the festival and in the ceremony as well. Organizers cover accommodation and travel costs up to 300 Euros for the wining authors.

Festival in itself covers several workshops, and it is a good opportunity for films students, amateurs or just simple move fans to learn lections and to share experiences with film producers, screenwriters and directors.  Attendance in workshops and lectures is for free, for the interested participants for the workshops that come from region outside Tetovo, we can cover accommodation and food costs.

“Watch out” is an open air Festival, so movie projections will be held in the amphitheater of the Museum of Communist party in Tetovo, Macedonia.

For each movie that wants to be part of the competition there are some criteria’s and requirements that have to be followed.

Criteria and requirements:

· If your film contains spoken language, it must have English subtitles

· You can only apply via our web page, to  upload the movie and complete application form – incomplete applications cannot be accepted

· The final date for application is 19 May 2013

· Each author can submit maximum three films

· There aren't any restrictions about length, genre or subject of the film

· It is in your responsibility to secure clearance from the copyright holders of any copyrighted materials included within the submitted film. The festival organizers will not take the responsibility for the unauthorized inclusion of any copyrighted materials within or relating to the submitted films

· With submitting your film you accept the rules & requirements

· Supported video formats are: avi, mov, mp4, mpg, flv, wmv!

· Maximum file size for movie uploading 1GB
